Is there a way to upgrade to this new version of Netatalk on MBWE White Light (I'm running firmware version 01.01.16) WITHOUT a firmware upgrade? I (and many other Linux-challenged Mac users) would be so grateful to anyone who could provide a step-by-step walkthrough of the process of updating Netatalk to version 2.2.0.Īs always, thank you for your time and consideration.īefore upgrading to OS X Lion, I need to make sure that my SMB connection will work. I was really excited because I discovered that I can upgrade the fw on it so now it is: 01.02.06 with MioNet. Today I had some time to mess around with my My Book World edition 2 (white light) 1TB.
